What to Expect at Your DUI Assessment

The DUI assessment is a conversation, not an interrogation. You’ll meet with a licensed addiction specialist who will:

  • Ask about your alcohol or drug use history
  • Explore how substance use has affected your life, relationships, and decisions
  • Help you recognize risk factors that could lead to another DUI

Most DUI/ADSAC assessments take about an hour. Afterward, you’ll receive personalized recommendations that may include classes, counseling, or treatment programs tailored to your situation. Our goal is to support you in taking positive steps, not to add unnecessary burdens.
